这日，FBI战绩最不堪的成员汤姆来到了郊外采药。忽然，空中划过了一个冒着黑烟的不明飞行物体，接着不远处发出了一阵轰炸声，一股黑烟冉冉升起！“What is that...?（那是什么……）”那个FBI成员汤姆一愣，背着箩筐，缓缓靠近，用镰刀拨开了杂草。
只见，一架UFO落在了草丛堆里，周边一片残骸，此时还闪烁着忽明忽暗的指示灯，不时发出外星声波，然而看它冒烟的样子，显然已经报废……
忽然，一个白色的不明外星生物从UFO机舱内滚落下来，顿时汤姆吓了一跳，重重摔倒在地！与此同时，那个被熏黑的白色外星生物垂着两只兔子般的耳朵，忽然睁开了蓝色的眼睛，嘴中发出了一阵地球人听不懂的外星语言……
“Are you OK?（你还好吗？）”说着，汤姆再次缓缓上前，伸手抚过了那个外星生物的脑袋，抱起了他。
谁料 ，那个外星生物忽然一口咬住了汤姆的手指！
“Ah!（啊！）”汤姆大喊一声，松开了那个外星生物，外星生物再次落地，汤姆顿时无奈，接着开口道，“Hey, I'll not bully you, please don't act this way...（哎，我不欺负你，别这样……）”
只见，那个外星生物垂着两只兔子般的耳朵，瘫坐在地，眼前闪过了一个全息对话框：“Language: English; Morphology: Earthling; Pattern: Harmless（语言：英语；形态：地球人；模式：无害）”
接着，全息对话框消失，看到这儿，那个外星生物眼神忽然温柔起来，接着，白光一闪，化作了地球人的人形，变成了一个小男孩。
“You also have a Earthling form!（你还有地球人的人形啊！）”顿时，汤姆大惊。
“Is there anything to eat? I'm hungry!（有吃的吗？我饿了。）”谁料，那个化成男孩的外星生物用英语开口道。
“Oh, sure, wait a moment...（哦，有的，你等等……）”说着，汤姆翻起了自己的小挎包，找了起来，“Uh, what's up? Why is it gone? Oh, how about this, I can take you back to the FBI, you can come with me.（诶，怎么回事？怎么没有了？哦，这样吧，我可以带你回FBI，跟我回去吧。）”
只见，汤姆递来了一只手，看向了那个男孩。
“What is the FBI?（FBI是什么？）”那个男孩很是不解，看着汤姆开口道。
“This is where I work. I believe the people there will welcome you.（是我工作的地方，我想那里的人会欢迎你的。）”汤姆微微一笑。
“OK, but don't pull my hand, I'm not a child!（好吧，但别拉我的手，我不是小孩！）”谁料，男孩伸手一打汤姆的手，起身。
“Okay, okay, I'm Tom. Could you tell me your name, boy?（好吧好吧，我是汤姆，可以告诉我你的名字吗，小孩？）”汤姆拍了拍男孩的肩膀，问道。
“I am from Mars, and you can call me Lucas.（我是火星人，你可以叫我卢卡斯。）”男孩开口道。
“Well, Lucas, where are your parents?（好吧，卢卡斯，你的父母呢？）”汤姆又问。
“I have no parents, and I was born from an egg.（我没有父母，是蛋壳里出生的。）”男孩回答道。
“Ah? Oh, okay.（啊？哦， 好吧。）”汤姆开口道。
这时，男孩眼前再次浮现了一个全息对话框：“The person you are close to is quite simple-minded. He has never made any contribution on the battlefield, yet he often causes trouble, however, he is very kind-hearted and he is worth to be friend.（你现在接近的人很笨，从未在战场上做出过任何贡献，还经常闯祸，但为人很好，值得交友。）”
看到这儿，男孩不禁露出了一阵疑惑的表情，向后一摆手，那个UFO飞碟顿时消失不见，于是，男孩跟着汤姆向前走去。
不久，汤姆背着箩筐，带着外星小孩卢卡斯回到了组织FBI。当他们路过大门扫描时，忽然响起了警报声！
“What's the matter?（怎么回事？）”卢卡斯看向了汤姆，一脸疑惑。
“Oh, not matter.（哦，不要紧。）”只见，汤姆取出了一张卡，往大门的感应器上一照。
只听，“嘀”的一下，FBI的大门打开，汤姆牵着卢卡斯的手走了进去。
“Oh, what's going on?（哦，怎么回事？）”当他们路过实验室时，一个FBI成员看了过来，开口道，“Tom, is the boy your child?（汤姆，是你的小孩吗？）”
“Ah? Oh, no, how is that possible? I was outside when I was gathering herbs, then...（啊？哦，不是，怎么可能？是我采药时在外面……）”汤姆立马否认，很是尴尬。
“I used to be his friend.（我是他以前的朋友。）”卢卡斯立马打断了汤姆的话。
“Oh, really?（哦，是吗？）”那个FBI成员微微一笑。
“Yeah, he's the little brother I knew before joining the FBI.（嗯，对，是加入FBI以前认识的小弟弟。）”汤姆开口道，接着看向了卢卡斯，只见，卢卡斯竖起了一根食指比在自己嘴前，示意汤姆安静，汤姆一愣，用手掩着嘴，轻声问道，“Can't I say it?（不可以说吗？）”
“Yes.（是的。）”卢卡斯一点头，微微一笑。
“All right, Tom, come in quickly to help with the experiment. Have you gathered the herbs yet?（好了，汤姆，快进来帮忙实验，你的药草采来没有啊？）”另一个实验室的FBI成员忽然说道。
“Oh, I’m coming.（哦，来了来了。）”说着，汤姆立马带着卢卡斯走了进去。
这时，楚浩然和凯瑟琳路过，凯瑟琳手里还拿着一张报告单子。
“Catherine, how about the results of my physical examination?（凯瑟琳，我的体检检查下来如何？）”楚浩然问道。
“It's quite strange. Perhaps because you've just regained consciousness from the freezing state, your various physiological parameters haven't yet returned to normal. It may take a while to recover.（很奇怪，大概是你刚冰封醒来的缘故，你的身体各项指标还没有恢复正常，大概还需要过一段时间才可以恢复。）”凯瑟琳看了一眼报告，又看向了楚浩然。

“It will be okay.（会没事的。）”凯瑟琳接着说道，“Oh, right! Jackson, I'd like to know what you meant by that phone call that can connect across time and space last time. Can you still get in touch with the person from that time and space?（哦，对了，杰克逊，我想知道你上次说的电话可以跨时空联系是怎么回事？你现在还可以联系你那个时空的人吗？）”

“It's Tom again, don't care about that, Jackson.（又是汤姆，别当回事，杰克逊。）”凯瑟琳一拍楚浩然的肩膀，很是无奈。
